Africana Studies and International Women’s Day

Today we interview Tukufu Zuberi professor of Africana Studies at the University of Pennsylvania and Brian Murphy a professor in the Department of Communication Studies at Niagara University on contemporary issues and misunderstandings regarding Africa today. Additionally, we will hear from Kate Raphael of Women’s Magazine who will talk with members of the women’s vocal ensemble Kitka, who are holding a special international women’s day concert this weekend. And we will end the show speaking with Inder Grewal, a student at City College of SF, addressing accreditation issues and a threatened closure of the campus.
