Danny Schechter, author of Madiba A to Z

On this Project Censored Show on Pacifica Radio–Nelson Mandela and the Legacy of Apartheid. Recently, hosts Mickey Huff and Peter Phillips had a discussion with independent journalist and filmmaker Danny Schechter, author of Madiba A to Z: the Many Faces of Nelson Mandela; and Dr. Amer Araim, who worked at the United Nations for 14 years to end apartheid in South Africa and has written about Mandela’s legacy and the situation in Israel/Palestine. On this week’s program, we play that prerecorded interview. Special thanks to our producer, Anthony Fest.

The show airs Friday, 8 A.M. Pacific time on 94.1 FM out of Berkeley, CA- http://kpfa.org/ Free Speech Radio, and rebroadcasts around the US the following week in NYC, Washington, D.C., Nashville, and more! Contact us at Project Censored if you’d like to find out how to bring the Project Censored Show to your local community supported radio station! Thanks to all of you that supported us as we just competed our 3rd year on air and are working on a book of some of our best interviews. Cheers and a Happier New(s) Year, everyone!
