What ever happened to “GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, and FOR THE PEOPLE????
Since at least the 80′s it has been GOVERNMENT OF THE BIG CORPORATIONS,BY THE BIG CORPORATIONS and FOR THE BIG CORPORATIONS. If we are ever going to get our America back this MUST END!!!

The only real way to force the issue is by constitutional amendment. Any party on enough state ballots to reach the magic number of 270 electoral votes should be allowed in the debates. Constitutional law party, green party, libertarian party or any other 3rd party candidate. We should also require a minimum number of debates, say ten that are required. Finally, control must be rested from the two parties as to debate length, questions, and structure.

funny thing is the public doesn’t really know about this, and if they protested it wouldn’t be covered by the media, so what are people to do? Why would you think that petitioning a corporate controlled govt will amount to anything? Pretty sad, what this republic has come to.

This is yet another reason to vote for the Green Party, which doesn’t accept ANY corporate money, and represents CITIZENS’ interests — not corporate interests.

This corrupt structure (among dozens of others) exists ONLY BECAUSE YOU SUPPORT IT BY VOTING FOR CANDIDATES FROM THE TWO CORPORATE-FINANCED PARTIES!

I agree with Alex, we should have a basic criteria that any candidate needs to make that is open, transparent and non-moving to participate in the debates. In our supposed free society, its almost the worst form of censoring.

We must petition the government to make a law requiring all political parties be represented in all debates which represent an arbitrary (ie 5-10%) percent of the national population. Our federal representatives will fight this, so it must voted in, it’s our only option.
