Germany actually produces more energy than it needs from solar now it has phased out nuclear. The real reason is weapons a handy by-product of this lunatic technology. So safe they censor news and put the nuke lobby in charge of investigating "accidents"

Juist a quick note: ALL energy is subsidized. Wether it is windmills, nuclear, or oil, all those companies recieve pax tayer money.
Saying that an energy source is ineffecient because it is taxpayer subsidized is not a valid argument, since it applies to everything.

Also congress is guilty of failing to acknowledge and deal with the ongoing dangers to the US from Fukushima reactors 3 and 4. enenews is a good site for more information. See doctored photos from Fukushima and also photos of US plants being doctored to hide the facts.

It is commonly known that corporations pay shills to promote their agenda on comment sections such as this one. Nuclear power which is outdated, dangerous, and taxpayer-subsidized because it is not efficient. Furthermore there is STILL no safe storage, and contamination is ongoing from most plants. At minimum Thorium should have been developed and in use by now, but for the nuclear lobbies, their shills, and main stream media which covers up what is happening. In addition to Thorium nuclear, Hydrogen is far cleaner and more efficient alternative. Chinese corps are making adapters now for automobiles for instance. No amount of shilling is going to change the facts, and the fact is, it's time for the old nuke industry to be thrown out of the congressional pig trough and forced to clean up the dire contamination that is happening.

Going nuclear might have its risks but it is still better than coal and more feasible than solar, wind and hydro. Hydro also has the drawback of blocking a mass amounts of water and damaging the farmers and fauna/flora downstream directly and semi-indirectly by messing up the ground water table that flora for kilometers on both sides tap into. Also if you actually look at the amount of nuclear reactors worldwide versus the amount of incidents then its quite a safe technology.
