Hardly a smoking gun. You can be sure that all admins since Carter had contingency plans in place to secure middle east oil fields in the event that free flow of oil to world markets was threatened.

Also, unless I missed it, the ‘smoking gun’ docs are simply maps of oil fields and infrastructure in Iraq, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. How does this equate to ‘invasion plans’ lol? Maintaining competitive intel on other countries engaged in oil projects is also par for the course.

Of course put this in the context of the US ongoing conflict in Iraq that predated Bush admin:

So if we take out the hyperbole and conspiracy, we aren’t left with much of a story.
