This article is typical of Project Censored Awards about depleted uranium, full of deliberately misleading statements by so-called experts. I would certainly like to contact the student researchers and the faculty evaluator, Rick Williams JD.

Reese Ehrlich seems to have become a fairly decent reporter. Too bad that he had not yet developed those skills here. He should have checked into his sources and found out why lying about DU was in their best interest. Probably just because no one wants to know about U-238 since it is everywhere on earth and because DU kinetic energy penetrators, the only form of DU used as a weapon, were not used in Afghanistan or anywhere else but the Gulf War, the Balkans and in southern Iraq in 2003 to kill the last of Saddam’s tanks. There were no tank battles in Fallujah despite the many claims to the contrary by the professional anti-DU jihadist like Christopher Busby or Doug Weir.

There never was a “UN Resolution” to flout. The Human Rights subcommitttee was presented false information about DU and Project Censored has bought into every lie ever presented on DU. A genuine article would do some real investigative research, not regurgitate what it found on the internet. DUStory at Yahoo Groups dot com.
