Today on the Project Censored Show on Pacifica Radio, Join co-hosts Mickey Huff and Peter Phillips for a special on national labor issues with guest host Steve Zeltzer from Work Week Radio. We will talk with DebraSweet of World Cant Wait in Chicago live from the NATO protests, and Mike Elk, National labor correspondent for In These Times Magazine, and Patrick Young from United Steelworkers of America in Pittsburgh, PA about the resolution on health and safety at Richmond Chevron refinery that the Steelworkers will be presenting at the upcoming Chevron shareholders meeting May 30 in SF. During the second half of the show we will interview teacher and Union Rep James Galgano and security guard Tobias Caine regarding SF School District austerity measures and discrimination on the job at Dr. Martin Luther King Middle school in San Francisco. We will round out the hour with a brief update from Charles Rachlis, State Health and Safety worker on the Governor Brown’s new demand for more furloughs and cutbacks.
