Mickey Peter spend the hour with independent journalist and author Brian Covert. Covert, longtime contributor to Project Censored, authored “Played by the Mighty Wurliterzer: the Press, the CIA, and the Subversion of Truth” for the latest book, Censored 2017, published by Seven Stories Press. They’ll look at a history of CIA media manipulation and bring it up to the ever relevant and unfolding events of the present, including the recent flap about “fake news” (aka propaganda) that is anything but new for those familiar with this history.
