PROJECT CENSORED RADIO:

Privatization of Public Education and More!

On the next Project Censored Show for Pacifica Radio join Mickey Huff and Peter Phillips as they discuss the privatization of public education with guest co-host Steve Zeltzer from Work Week Radio. We will start with a brief news update from Carl Dix co-founder of the Revolutionary Communist Party, who is in Sanford, Florida, the scene of the crime where George Zimmerman gunned down Trayvon Martin. Then we will have a report from Ginger Cassidy (Rain Forest Action Network) on upcoming Chevron shareholders meeting May 30 in San Francisco. We then turn to the theme of the day as we interview whistleblower Kathy Carroll on new discoveries of systemic corruption in the state education system that supports privatization of public schools. During the second half of the program, we interview investigative reporter Danny Weil on private college abuses and private capital financialization of public education. Show Hosts: Mickey Huff and Peter Phillips, with Abby Martin of Media Roots.
