Come celebrate Project Censored’s 40th Anniversary! There will be pizza and salad from Sonoma Mountain Pizza; great music with The No Buenos and hip hop artist Bobby Aztlan Ramirez; Project faculty and students sharing the latest News that Didn’t Make the News, AND special guest hip hop journalist and scholar Davey D of Hard Knock Radio will break down what’s going on with the media and the recent election analyzing what it means for various communities in the US!
Come together in solidarity and celebrate Project Censored after a tumultuous election year as the work uncensoring the news and teaching critical media literacy may be more important now than ever given the coming challenges we face. We can all use some meaningful dialogue, great music and food, and have a drink together.
