The Under-reported ‘Dark Side’ of 3D Printing

3D printers are among the most recent, revolutionary technologies.  However, as Lyndsey Gilpin reports, with new advances come potential consequences and risks, which corporate media tend to skip over. the thing that mainstream media sources like to skip over. From their energy costs (as compared with injection molding) to unhealthy air emissions; from gun control loopholes to bioprinting ethics, the downsides of 3D printers make the technology a “double-edged sword.”
