by Project Censored

SECOND TUESDAY NIGHTS @ 6:30, Free!

Hosted by Mickey Huff, Director of Project Censored, professor of social science and history at Diablo Valley College

Join us second Tuesdays this fall for four evenings discussing key issues from the global to the local as we look at the news that didn’t make the news and examine why while offering positive solutions for the many challenges we face as a society.

Tuesday, November 10th 6:30pm @ Aqus Café, 189 H St. at 2nd, Petaluma

Award-winning investigative journalist Peter Byrne joins Project Censored director Mickey Huff in conversation about his latest series, five years in the making, to be published by the Pt. Reyes Light weekly from November through January:

“BUSTED! Breast Cancer, Money, and the Media

…a ten-part investigative series on breast cancer in Marin County that aims to demystify breast cancer risk. It reveals how scientific data can be manipulated to promote non-scientific agendas. It deflates a quarter century of hysterically headlined news stories on a non-existent cancer epidemic in Marin County.

Come out for an intriguing evening deconstructing the phenomenon of Pinkwashing while exposing corruption and secrecy in both the public and private sectors surrounding this important public health story!
