…a ten-part investigative series on breast cancer in Marin County that aims to demystify breast cancer risk. It reveals how scientific data can be manipulated to promote non-scientific agendas. Peter Byrne is an investigative reporter and science writer based in Petaluma. His work has appeared in SF Weekly, Mother Jones, California Lawyer, San Francisco, Salon.com, Scientific American, Quanta, Wired, East Bay Express and many other publications. In 2010, Oxford University Press published “The Many Worlds of Hugh Everett IIII: Multiple Universes, Mutual Assured Destruction and the Meltdown of a Nuclear Family,” to international acclaim.
